Just when you thought it was safe to get back in the water…Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster movie, “Jaws,” is turning 50. National Geographic just announced “JAWS @ 50: The Definitive Inside Story,” a 90-minute authorized documentary on the making of this iconic film. The company has also released the first poster, trailer, and given it a July 10th premiere date.  “JAWS @ 50: The Definitive Inside Story,” is directed by Laurent Bouzereau (“Music by John Williams”) and is made with Spielberg’s full participation and blessing. The release of the long-gestating “King of The Hill” revival is just around the corner. Hulu has released a revamped opening credit sequence that raises so many questions. Like…did Hank and Peggy Hill briefly move out of their home? And who is that new guy in the alley? Granted the show went off the air in 2009 and a lot has changed to say the least. Last week, it was announced that Alex Garland (“Civil War”) would be turning the RPG “Elden Ring” into a live-action movie for A24 Films. It’s now being reported that Garland already has Kit Connor (“Heartstopper”) in mind to star. The duo recently worked together on the aptly titled war epic, “Warfare.” While we must stress that nothing is official in terms of Connor’s casting, yet. Connor is interested in the project, but scheduling and making a formal offer are still huge hurdles to leap. Actor and rumored time lord Keanu Reeves (“John Wick”) is done fighting angels (like in 2005’s “Constantine). Now, he is starring as an angel himself in Aziz Ansari’s (“Parks & Recreation”) feature directorial debut, “Good Fortune.” Lionsgate has just released the film’s first hilarious teaser trailer.  “Good Fortune” follows Gabriel (Reeves), a well-meaning but kind of inept angel, who decides he wants more responsibilities. Netflix is full speed ahead for its upcoming Tudum event on May 31st. The streamer has already teased a big “One Piece” season 2 announcement. And they decided to double-down on it today in a new video.  The under two-minute clip shows the Straw Hat crew prepping for a sleepover. CBS’ hit reality show “Survivor” is ramping up to its 49th season. After the season 48 finale on May 21st, the network aired the first trailer for the upcoming season. Among the various clips, we see Nate Moore, former development executive at Marvel Studios, swimming. Moore began working for Marvel Studios in 2010 and helped turn its cinematic universe into what it is today. For nearly a decade, Disney has been remaking its animated classics as live-action films. The company’s latest adaptation, 2002’s “Lilo & Stitch,” is already bringing in more at the box office than its animated predecessor. Between this and “Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning,” this could be the biggest Memorial Day weekend in box office history. “Lilo & Stitch” led the domestic box office, pulling in $145.5 million on its opening weekend.
