Filmmaker Guillermo del Toro is still hard at work on his long sought after adaptation of Mary Shelley’s groundbreaking novel, “Frankenstein.” The project has added Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz to the star-studded cast. Target nailed their Halloween decor this year, especially their newest addition, Lewis O Lantern. This 8-foot tall light-up Halloween decoration has the face of a jack-o’-lantern and sports a hooded, tattered robe. The world’s largest post apocalyptic festival Wasteland Weekend returned to the Mojave Desert for it’s 13th year this past weekend. The five-day event ran from September 27th through October 1st, and is a fully immersive experience you have to see to believe. Over 3200 people gathered, dressed in post-apocalyptic “Mad Max” inspired garb to participate in a myriad of different activities. Oscar-winnner Tom Hanks has taken to Instagram to warn fans about an ad using an AI likeness of him to sell a dental plan. Making this the most lackluster episode of “Black Mirror” to date. “BEWARE!! There’s a video out there promoting some dental plan with an AI version of me. I have nothing to do with it,” Hanks wrote over a photo from the ad. Perpetual action hero Jason Statham (“The Meg 2”) is at it again in the first trailer for Miramax’s “The Beekeeper.” The upcoming film is directed by filmmaker David Ayer (“Fury”) from a script by Kurt Wimmer (“Expend4bles”). Sam Wineman, a producer for Shudder’s “Queer for Fear,” is suing the streamer, parent company AMC Networks, and executive producer Bryan Fuller for sexual harassment. As well as creating a hostile work environment and retaliation when the Wineman spoke up about the situation.
