Oscar-nominated actress Mary McDonnell (“Battlestar Galactica”) has some big roles in the works. It’s just been confirmed that she will be joining Marvel’s “Vision” series and the upcoming thriller “One Second After.” “Vision” The Emmy winner’s role in Disney+’s upcoming series has not been disclosed at this time. McDonnell will star alongside returning MCU alum Paul Bettany as Vision and James Spader as Ultron. The series serves as a follow-up to his hit series, “WandaVision.” Terry Matalas (“Star Trek: Picard”) serves as showrunner. With ticket prices for movies on the rise, studios are making flicks longer to make patrons feel they got their money’s worth. For example, the new film “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie” clocks in at 2 hours and 35 minutes. A chef in the San Francisco Bay area has been arrested on suspicion of robbing three banks in a day. Valentino Luchin, former executive chef at Rose Pistola and owner/head chef of the defunct Ottavio Osteria, is being held in police custody.  Around noon on September 10th, the San Francisco Police Department responded to a robbery activation at a bank. “Upon arrival, officers learned that the male suspect entered the business and passed a note to an employee demanding money,” said SFPD in a statement. “Fearing for their safety, the employee complied and provided the suspect with a bag of…

We have some unfortunate news from the set of the next “Highlander” movie. Star Henry Cavill has been injured during pre-production training for the upcoming film. To ensure he fully heals from the undisclosed injury, production has been pushed back, likely to the start of 2026. In 2023, “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” hit theaters and was an instant box office hit. As humans, we don’t even understand the planet that we are on. We understand even less about the planets that surround us. NASA says that Mars’ Perseverance rover may have found evidence of ancient microbial life.  This sample will need further study, but there is the possibility that this “biosignature is a substance or structure that might have a biological origin,” NASA reports. It could potentially prove or disprove the existence of life (as we know it) on Mars. The adult animated series centers around Charlie Morningstar (Erika Henningsen), daughter of Lucifer and the princess of Hell. 10 years after the first film hit theaters, Lionsgate is making a sequel to “The Last Witch Hunter”! The even more exciting news is that Vin Diesel will reprise his role as Kaulder. His co-star, Sir Michael Caine, may return as Dolan, but that deal hasn’t been finalized yet. Caine previously retired from acting in 2023.
