The International Skating Union (ISU) has voted to slowly raise the minimum competition age for the senior figure skater devision from 15 to 17. This decision was voted on during the 2022 ISU Congress in Phuket, Thailand. In the upcoming 2023-2024 season, the minimum age for skaters will go up to 16. It will then go to 17 for the 2024-25 season. The 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy will require all competitors be at least 17. Modern horror masters Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy are adapting Christopher Pike’s young adult novel “The Midnight Club” for Netflix. This project was officially announced during Geeked Week Day 1. Horror-centric streaming service Shudder has released official poser art for their upcoming docu-series “Queer for Fear: The History of Queer Horror.” The artwork features drag artist Alaska Thunderfuck, who won “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 2.” “Queer for Fear” is from executive producers Bryan Fuller (“Hannibal,” “Pushing Daisies”) and Steak House (“Launchpad,” “The Mustang”). Most people know icon Lynda Carter for playing Wonder Woman on the hit show of the same name in the 70s. It was a network program that was based off the wildly popular DC Comics series.
