Miller Lite released an ad calling their old marketing campaigns sexist and worse earlier this year. The “woke” ad has gone viral, with conservatives calling for boycotts of the beer company. Many are comparing Miller’s ad with Bud Light’s celebration of trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney with rainbow beer cans, which also caused cries for a boycott. Several automakers, including Ford, BMW, and Tesla are doing away with AM radio in their new electric cars. Mainly since electric engines can disrupt AM signals. Ford is taking it one step farther, and eliminating it from all of their gas-powered models, too. On May 11th, an Arby’s employee in New Iberia, Louisiana made the horrific discovery. It was a dead body in the walk-in freezer. The police were quickly dispatched to the restaurant located at 1120 E. Admiral Doyle Drive in New Iberia’s Lagniappe Village shopping center. “So it was an employee that discovered the female deceased inside the cooler, (and) the deceased is an employee of the restaurant,” Police Captain Leland Laseter said. Hasbro’s Entertainment One (eOne) plans to launch a new streaming channel devoted to the beloved tabletop game “Dungeons & Dragons.” Planning to launch this summer, it will be a 24-hour free, ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel. The upcoming MAX animated series “Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai” just got a new trailer. This half-hour animated series will be a joint effort between WB Animation and Amblin TV. After the band reunited last summer, they have just confirmed they will be releasing new music and performing for the first time in over 20 years!
