Comedy mainstay Will Ferrell is at the top of the list to play the late NFL coach/commentator/video game star John Madden in an upcoming biopic. The film is being directed by David O. Russell (“Amsterdam”) for Amazon’s Prime Video Sports. From a script penned by Cambron Clark (“Dinosaurs of the Jurassic World”). A Kentucky man took terrible roommate stories to a whole new level when he shot his flatmate because he ate the last Hot Pocket. Louisville resident Clifton Williams was arrested on assault charges after he shot his roommate in the backside.  According to a court citation, Williams got angry “and began throwing tiles” at his roommate after they ate the last Hot Pocket. For privacy reasons, the victim’s name is currently being withheld from the public. William’s roommate attests that he tried to fight back before saying he was leaving. Toymaker Hasbro has announced that their new game, Twister Air, will replace the traditional mat with an augmented reality app. Twister Air uses wearable colored wristbands and uses the camera on your phone or tablet to track movements. As players are instructed to match their wrist and ankle bands with colored spots on the screen. Emmy-nominated actress Rhea Seehorn (“Better Call Saul”) will be joining the cast of “Bad Boys 4” (working title). She will be starring alongside Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, who will be reprising their roles as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. Streamer Netflix dropped a teaser and release date for their newest animated series, “Skull Island.” The show will follow a group of people who are stranded on King Kong’s home of Skull Island after a crash. Marvel Studios has released character posters and a teaser for their newest Disney+ series “Secret Invasion.” The series will follow Nick Fury (Samuel L. The ghost town of Eagle Mountain located in the California desert has been purchased for $22.5 million by a mysterious buyer. Their reasons for purchasing the town are currently unknown.  Founded in 1948, Eagle Mountain is formally a company town that housed employees of Kaiser Steel. Lush with palm trees, the community provided an idyllic backdrop for roughly 4,000 residents. Many of these residents worked for the nearby mine drilling, blasting, and shoving iron ore. The three-day event will be hosted by founder Joe Bob Briggs and Diana Prince, better known as Darcey The Mail Girl.
