Police in Santa Cruz, California, have arrested 19-year-old Damian Vela for making fake parking tickets. Vela placed the fake tickets on cars near the beach in Santa Cruz. Each one had a QR code that directed victims to a website where they could pay for the bogus citation. The teenager is charged with unlawful use of a computer system and attempted fraud, police said. While it seems he was only able to distribute these one night, the police are still unsure how many he distributed or how many victims fell for it. Country star Zach Bryan has vowed to keep ticket costs low for his 2023 tour. Earlier this year, it was announced Hugh Jackman would return to the role of Wolverine, alongside Ryan Reynolds in “Deadpool 3.” This is a big deal, as both characters will officially be joining Marvel Studios with this film. The final trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s new horror movie “Knock at the Cabin” has released. The film is an adaptation of Paul Tremblay’s popular 2018 novel, “The Cabin at the End of the World.” It will be Shyamalan’s return to R-rated horror. A fan group has been asked to halt their “Resident Evil” and “Resident Evil Code: Veronica” video game remakes. The projects were being developed by Matt Croft, Briins Croft, and DarkNemesisUmbrella as free to play games. While these remakes have been in development for some time, it seems Capcom finally noticed, and officially asked them to stop. Swedish retail giant H&M has pulled its Justin Bieber merchandise after the singer slammed them on Instagram. The pop star posted two since deleted notes to his Instagram story. He claimed he didn’t approve any of the merch collection “that they put up at H&M.” Bieber contends the entire collection was done without his approval or permission. “SMH I wouldn’t buy it if I were you,” he posted. Two fans of actress Ana de Armas filed a lawsuit in January after renting the 2019 film “Yesterday.” The plaintiffs, Conor Woulfe and Peter Michael Rosza, filed the suit after they rented the film for $3.99 on Amazon Prime. Their issue is, while de Armas is featured in the trailer, she does not appear in the film.
