The California Highway Patrol (CHP) for Marin County recently pulled over a driver in the HOV lane. The reason? He was using a mannequin to fulfill the multiple-passenger requirement. To their credit, the driver at least tried to make the mannequin look a bit more human. Toymaker Mattel has revealed a brand new Weird Barbie will be joining their signature line! The doll is based on Kate McKinnon’s character from Greta Gerwig’s billion-dollar “Barbie” movie.  These Weird Barbies come complete with a mismatched outfit, drawings all over their face, and legs that can do the splits. Even though McKinnon has admitted that she did not do those impressive splits herself. Director James Wan (“Aquaman”) is on the mend after a scary and seemingly unexpected stay at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Seasonal retailer Spirit Halloween has just introduced the first ever life-size animatronic from “Mars Attacks.” Based on the cult-classic Topps trading card series, this is an exclusive and officially-licensed Martian Warrior Animatronic. You just can’t kill Ghostface, can you? Spyglass Entertainment has confirmed “Scream 7” will no longer be directed by Radio Silence. Instead, Christopher Landon (“Happy Death Day”) is taking over. This will be the 7th installment of the Wes Craven created horror franchise.  The last two installments of the series, 2022’s reboot “Scream” and 2023’s “Scream VI,” were directed by the filmmaking collective, Radio Silence. Members Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, and Chad Villella will still be acting as executive producers on the new film. To celebrate the 54th anniversary of The Haunted Mansion ride, Disneyland will be materializing a new limited-edition Hatbox Ghost tiki mug.  These brand new novelty glasses will be available next week! Since the fan-favorite attraction also opened on that day in 1969.
