Creator of Amazon Prime Video’s “A League of Their Own” Abbi Jacobson has called out the streamer’s excuse for the show’s cancelation. On August 18th, Prime Video reversed their previous decision to give the show a truncated second season. The company blames delays caused by the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Looking at the history of the series, it’s no surprise why Jacobson thinks Prime’s reason for cancelation is dubious. Russia’s Luna-25 spacecraft has crashed into The Moon after it spun into an uncontrolled orbit. The mission was to be the first ever spacecraft to land on the South Pole of the moon. The final film from Hayao Miyazaki, “How Do You Live?,” is making its way out Japan! While the movie opened in Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli’s native country on July 14th, there was no word on an international release date until today. The director of the 1996 blockbuster “Twister,” Jan de Bont, recently gave his thoughts about the film’s upcoming sequel. While the followup has allegedly been in the works for awhile, he says he was not consulted about it. FX has announced a four episode “American Horror Stories” Halloween event coming to Hulu for spooky season. “American Horror Stories” is a spinoff anthology of “American Horror Story” from creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. TSG Entertainment Finance is suing The Walt Disney Company and 20th Century Studios after an audit showed they were owed at least $40 million. A lawsuit was filed on August 15th in Los Angeles for breach of contract against the studios.
