MAX has ordered a “Sex and the City” sequel series “And Just Like That” third season. This renewal comes right before the second season finale, which is set to air on August 24th. That episode will feature a ‘cameo’ from “Sex and the City” alumni Samantha (Kim Cattrall). “And Just Like That” follows the exploits of Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte (Kristin Davis), and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) over 15 years after “Sex and the City” ended. Director Ángel Manuel Soto is certainly having a moment right now. His DC Comics superhero film  “Blue Beetle” just opened this weekend, raking in $25.4 million. The upcoming horror movie, “Vindicta” has received an October release window from Paramount’s Republic Pictures. It will be directed by Sean McNamara, who also did the 2011 biopic “Soul Surfer” and 2015’s “Spare Parts” starring George Lopez and Jamie Lee Curtis. “Vindicta” will tell the story of a city terrorized by a sadistic serial killer.
