‘Resident Evil 3 Remake’ Cover Art is on PSN

Resident Evil 2 Remake was a smash hit. Since it’s release on May 21, the remake has sold $4.2 million units and won a nomination for Game of the Year. It only makes sense that Capcom would want to keep the momentum going. So it’s not all that surprising to hear that a certain Nemesis’ face has recently appeared on PlayStation.

Gamestat, which tracks PlayStation stats, recently spotted Resident Evil 3 Remake cover art on the official PlayStation assets site. The cover art shows off the game’s main characters Jill, Carlos, and the fearsome Nemesis. All of the characters seem to have gotten a serious upgrade. Jill looks more serious and sexy in a similar vein to Lara Croft. Meanwhile, Carlos now has a beard and some less wild-looking hair. Even Nemesis seems more horrifying and grotesque than he did in the original game.

    Jill and Carlos look fantastic!

According to Gamestat, there will be two editions of the remake. We have no information yet on what those editions will be or what they will contain. Capcom has been giving hints of a Resident Evil 3 Remake being on the horizon for some time. At the beginning of Steam’s Autumn Sale, Capcom posted art featuring Resident Evil 3’s version of Jill with Nemesis in the background. Alongside this new information about the cover art, it seems that Resident Evil 3 Remake is all but guaranteed to be on its way.
