Buying physical media is on the rise because we all miss feeding our various devices little treats. Broke Horror Fan will be giving horror lovers’ VCRs a treat with a VHS release of In a Violent Nature.
These limited edition releases come in two varieties. The first is a standard edition slipcase. The second is a book box edition with a gatefold cover. It features a green VHS and alternative art by Gary Pullin. However, gatefold editions are limited to 200 copies.
Both editions include exclusive intros from director Chris Nash and the cast. There is even a special featurette following the film.
In a Violent Nature follows the rotting corpse of Johnny, a vengeful spirit driven by a horrific 60-year-old crime. He resurrects to go on a killing spree when a locket is removed from the collapsed fire tower in the woods where his rotting body is. He will now stop at nothing to retrieve it.
Broke Horror Fan’s release is fully functional and presented in its original 4:3 aspect ratio. It’s a fully licensed release that has been approved by the director himself. This limited edition release is already available for pre-order here, and will ship later this year.
