Everything old is new again: Alex Proyas’ 1994 film The Crow is being re-released on VHS. This retro revamp comes courtesy of Vice Press Home Video, in partnership with Paramount Home Entertainment.
The VHS features artwork by Matt Ferguson and Florey and comes in a standard and exclusive edition. Each standard edition has a red design on a black tape. The exclusive edition features a much more detailed black design on a white tape.
Both versions run £34.99 and are only available in the UK PAL format. The standard editions are limited to 1250 copies, with exclusive editions being limited to 250 tapes.

The film centers around Eric Draven (Brandon Lee) and his fiancée on the eve of their wedding. Sadly, the couple is brutally murdered by a gang before they get married. But, a year later, Eric is resurrected and assumes the mantle of supernatural avenger, the Crow.
Based on the graphic novel by James O’Barr, the film became a cultural touchstone for many who grew up in the 1990s. Despite that, The Crow’s legacy and cultural impact are forever marred by the fact that Brandon Lee died while on set.
The movie did spawn several sequels, which were nowhere near as well-received as the original. Rupert Sanders‘ 2024 remake, starring Bill Skarsgård, received abysmal reviews.
