Zhong: From Digital Powerhouse to Hulu’s Rabbit Hole

Digital creator Zhong has built one of the most scalable comedy brands in the creator economy and is now expanding into premium television as a core cast member of Rabbit Hole, the upcoming creator-driven variety series produced by pocket.watch and set to premiere exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. in 2026.

Best known for his high-energy pranks and family-friendly comedy, Zhong has amassed more than 50 million YouTube subscribers, earning the platform’s Diamond Creator Award, and has generated tens of billions of views across social platforms. His content reaches audiences in over 150 countries, placing him among the most widely viewed digital comedy creators of his generation.

In 2021, Zhong formalized his operation with the launch of Zhongster LLC, a U.S.-registered digital media company headquartered in Los Angeles. What began as viral short-form content has evolved into a full-scale production studio employing more than 100 creatives across editing, production, strategy, and analytics. The company blends creative instincts with data-driven decision-making, designing content for maximum retention, shareability, and long-term audience engagement.

Zhongster LLC operates a diversified business model spanning platform monetization, branded integrations, merchandise, and global partnerships with major household brands. The company reinvests heavily in studio spaces, production infrastructure, and creative talent, funneling millions annually back into the digital entertainment ecosystem. Despite its scale, the operation remains rooted in a creator-first philosophy, prioritizing consistency, authenticity, and audience trust.

That philosophy aligns closely with pocket.watch’s approach to premium content. Rabbit Hole is a ten-episode, half-hour variety series that brings together leading digital creators for collaborations, challenges, games, and performances, produced in a way that preserves each creator’s individual voice and style. The central cast collectively commands more than 420 million followers across social platforms.

Produced by pocket.watch, with founder and CEO Chris Williams and chief content officer Albie Hecht serving as executive producers, Rabbit Hole reflects the growing crossover between the creator economy and traditional streaming platforms. Filmed in and around Los Angeles, the series represents a shift away from retrofitting influencers into existing television formats, instead building a show directly around the creators themselves.

For Zhong, Rabbit Hole marks a natural progression from viral digital success to premium, creator-led entertainment. As streaming platforms continue to embrace digital-native talent, his involvement positions him at the forefront of the next phase of creator-driven television—bringing the same discipline, scale, and audience connection that defined his online rise to a broader stage.
