Paramount Scares is ringing in the holidays with a touch of spooky with the new short “Season’s Screamings.” Written and directed by Michael Varrati (“There’s a Zombie Outside”) the roughly 4 minute film has Jason Voorhees (Bart Mastronardi) palling around with “Friday the 13th: A New Beginning” star Melanie Kinnaman.

Poking fun at the fact that this is the only film in the franchise not the feature Voorhees.

“Isn’t this wild? This is the first time we’re technically meeting each other in person,” she says to greet Jason in “Season’s Screamings.”

The two awkwardly try to celebrate Christmas together under a truce that he won’t kill anyone. Before advertising Paramount’s streaming horror titles like “Scream,” “Rosemary’s Baby,” “Smile,” “10 Cloverfield Lane,” “Pet Sematary,” “Overlord,” “Mimic,” and “Friday the 13th: Part 3.”
