Fresh off his mega hit horror film “Sinners,” Ryan Coogler shows no signs of slowing down. The filmmaker just confirmed Marvel Studios‘ “Black Panther 3” will be his next film!

“We’re working on it,” Coogler responded when asked how long it will take to get the third installment up and running. “We’re working hard. It’s next. Yeah, it’s the next movie.”
Very little is known about “Black Panther 3.” Like the 2018 and 2022 installments, Coogler will write and direct. There was also a surprise casting announcement with Oscar-winning Denzel Washington confirming he will star in the project.
“I’m only interested in working with the best — I don’t know how many more films I’m going to make, probably not that many,” Washington told “Today Show Australia.” “I want to do things I haven’t done.” He then lists off a few upcoming projects, including a “part in the next Black Panther.”
It’s still unknown as to what role Washington will play.
At this time, there is no set release window for“Black Panther 3.” We’ll keep you posted on updates about the project as it develops. You can watch the interview with Coogler below:
