Amazon Prime video has confirmed an exciting new addition to the “Batman” franchise. Next month the streamer will debut “Bat-Fam,” a new original animated series. This will be a half-hour action-comedy show, and a follow-up to “Merry Little Christmas.”

It follows Batman (Luke Wilson), Alfred (James Cromwell), and young Damian Wayne (Yonas Kibreab) as he takes on the role of Little Batman. However, their family expands when Alicia (London Hughes), Alfred’s grandniece; Claire (Haley Tju), a recently reformed Super-Villain; Man-Bat (Bobby Moynihan); and Ra’s al Ghul (Michael Benyaer), Damian’s “Pap Pap”/Batman’s nemesis. Making Wayne Manor a full house, filled with personal triumphs and dysfunctions all while trying to fight crime.
The series will feature several guest stars as well, including Reid Scott, Natasha Leggero, Diedrich Bader, and Kevin Michael Richardson. Mike Roth serves as showrunner and executive producer with Jase Ricci who devloped the series.
