How Well does the Weddell Water Shower Duo Filter Really Work?

When I first saw the Weddell Duo Shower Filter I wondered to myself, how much better could my water get? I mean it’s pretty standard in Missouri to have good, clean water. Everyday I had issues after showering, like dry skin, which isn’t unusual in winter but slightly annoying to deal with. Back in California the water was terrible. My hair would be drier after showering and it wasn’t until my mom got Culligan installed that we started having ok showers. I thought I was pretty spoiled then, but after installing the Weddell Duo Shower Filter in my new shower, I think that this product tops even installing Culligan.

The shower filter was very easy to install and they even give you plumbers tape to seal the connection. I was impressed at how easy it was to not only disconnect my shower head but install this contraption as well. I’m not a plumber but I am handy with tools and such. I could install this with my bare hands which was wonderful.

I used this filter over the weekend to see what kind of difference it would make. So far, my hair feels softer and so does my skin. I usually use a lot more lotion than I have been the past couple days. Just mainly focusing on my hands since I wash them in the sink and those faucets don’t have any type of filter. Not only is this shower filter making my skin and hair feel amazing but it has lots of other features as well!

So, this shower filter surprised me a lot with how different my showers could be. I had no idea that there were so many chemicals in the existing water. It gave me peace of mind to take a toxin free shower and know that my kids could as well. It also was an extremely welcome change as my skin and scalp feel healthier and more hydrated. I recommend this shower filter to anyone who wants to keep that youthful glow about them without spending an arm and a leg on product. Because, at the base of your skincare routine is first cleaning off in the shower.
