Lepro Smart LED Floor Lamp Review: Slim Design for Small Spaces

I love lighting. I love finding the perfect light for a difficult space. One of those spaces for me was the little corner between my bookshelf and the wall with my My Little Pony pictures from the 80s. It’s a small smace that putting a traditional light would have been impossible to do – believe me I tried. So when Lepro volunteered to send me the Lepro Smart LED Floor Lamp to review I was excited for it. It seemed slim enough to successfully incorporate into the space. And luckily enough that was exactly the case.

    Not Hard to Build

Along with home decor and various projects around the house I love to build things. Bookshelves, tables, what have you. But sometimes I don’t have time for a big building project and I will put it off. This lamp however was very easy to build. It came with everything! Even a screwdriver which is something you don’t see often. Wrenches yes, Allen Wrenches yes. But when it comes to basic tools like a screwdriver a lot of companies just assume you’ll have that sitting around. And while I did, the fact that one came in the box was one of the highlights of building this kit.

Unlike other lamps that you screw in place with multiple parts this one was more of a challenge. A fun one though. There were little brackets that slid into the pieces that you screwed in place. Eventually you get a very long slim lamp.

Putting in the LED was a trial and error situation. I had put it in snug at the top and then tried to slide it down and into place, not realizing that it was pulling the entire light down with it. I got the hang of it in about a minute though so it’s really easy to figure out. It probably took me about 10 minutes to build this which is super quick when you think about how long it takes to say, build something from IKEA.

    Installation and App Use

This lamp is very slim. So you can literally put it anywhere. The base is not obtuse like some of the other lamps I have so you could easily fit this into any corner space you have. Behind the couch, directly next to a large furniture object. Either of those places would be fine to set it and it would fit nicely.

Like I had mentioned before, the place I was having the most difficulty finding a good lighting solution happened to be the corner between my bookshelf and My Little Pony pictures. It’s right next to the hallway and I didn’t have anything to light that space at night. This lamp solved that problem. And I can do it in a beautiful way too.

The Lepro App is one of the easiest ones I’ve used yet. Compared to other apps for other devices like Govee the Lepro App takes the cake. First of all once you plug in the light, all you have to do is open the app. It’s likely that it will recognize it right away. When it does you connect it to your WiFi. After that you can actually use the Lepro App or detect the lamp in Google Home or whatever smart App you’re using for other appliances.

    Lighting Options for Special Occasions

Since it’s app based you can change the colors at a whim. You can have pastels for Easter, or green and red for Christmas. You can also have it sync to music if you’re throwing a party. It’s just amazing what these lamps are capable of.

I fully recommend getting at least one Lepro lamp to check it out. You can see everything Lepro has to offer via their website, https://www.lepro.com/ or check out their store on Amazon.
