“Hellboy” Creator Mike Mignola Auctioning Rare Items for CA Fire Relief

While Hellboy may be half demon, that doesn’t mean he can’t help raise money for those who need it. Mike Mignola, who created the comic book character in 1993, recently listed some rare, signed figures and posters on eBay. If that isn’t cool enough, Mignola will give all the proceeds to World Central Kitchen (WCK).

WCK is an organization created by Chef José Andrés, who recently received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, that provides fresh meals to people during humanitarian, climate, and community crises. This charity is currently providing relief to those affected by the wildfires in California, and other areas world-wide.

Mignola has put four items up on eBay so far, two figures and two posters, for the WCK fundraiser. The figures are two different Sideshow Hellboy Kroenen 12″ figures that will be signed by the creator in a place of the winner’s choosing. Both are in the box and never opened.

Then there is a rare teaser poster for 2004’s “Hellboy” signed by him and director Guillermo del Toro. As well as a teaser poster for 2019’s “Hellboy” signed by him, star David Harbour, and director Neil Marshall. Both posters are in great condition and have been kept in heavy-duty cardboard tubes since they were autographed.

    Bids

The figures are already going for well over $200 with two days left on the auction. The teaser poster for the 2004 film is already over $600, while its 2019 counterpart just cracked $200. But these posters still have four days left on the auction, so we are sure those prices will skyrocket soon enough.

For anyone interested you can check out the listings for yourself on eBay. We wish anyone bidding to support WCK the best of luck.

If you’d like to donate directly to WCK, you can do so here.
