In May of this year, seafood chain Red Lobster filed for bankruptcy. Shortly thereafter, an unlikely hero rushed to its aid. Personality Flavor Flav announced that he went to a location and ordered the entire menu to help save the restaurant. This helped kick off an avalanche of online support with the hashtag SaveTheBiscuits.
Flav is now teaming up with the company to announce the return of Crabfest!

“We love seeing our fans show up and rally for us, so when Flavor Flav reached out, we answered the call and invited him to join us in reminding fans we’re here to stay,” Sara Bittorf, Chief Experience Officer at Red Lobster, said.

Crabfest
The promotion allows customers to Crab Your Way with the choice of a full pound of either steamed bairdi (while supplies last for an additional charge) or snow wild-caught crab legs. You can also add flavor options like cajun butter, roasted garlic butter, or simply steamed.
“Crabfest has been a guest-favorite event for years and we’re excited to bring the flavor, along with a variety of wild-caught crab for our guests to enjoy, now and for generations to come,” added Bittorf.

Red Lobster is adding even more crave-able crab creations starting at just $20 to its menu. The new options include creamy crab carbonara, crab & lobster duo, and snow crab & crab-topped steak. Crab mac and cheese and a new drink, the breezy hurricane, will also be added to the menu.
You can check out the complete Red Lobster menu and find your nearest location here. But hurry, Crabfest is for a limited time only.
