Gotta Eat Em All: Krispy Kreme has Pokémon Doughnuts!

Sugary breakfast treat, I choose you! Doughnut maker Krispy Kreme will be releasing a Pokémon collaboration soon. These beyond-precious doughnuts include Pikachu, Ditto, Psyduck, Jigglypuff, and Diglett.

But there is a catch (‘em all), these pastries will be exclusively sold in South Korea.

The internet is already abuzz with a mix of excitement about these existing and disappointment about them being regional. However, if the internet has taught us anything it’s that; if something sells well enough it may not become so exclusive anymore. So if these are a hit in South Korea, other countries may also get to sample their favorite fighting monster.

Some images posted on Instagram show each doughnut’s pricing. Customers can choose between six and twelve-count boxes, with six of the dozen box’s doughnuts being original glazed. This has also led to confusion about why there only seem to be five characters instead of an even six. Most commentators are gunning for the fan-favorite Snorlax to be included.

No official release date for the Krispy Kreme, Pokémon doughnut collaboration is set, just yet. But we’ll keep you posted on updates as they become available.
