His backpacks’ got jets, he’s Boba The Fett. Jon Hamm (“Mad Men,” “Good Omens“) is returning to the “Star Wars” universe to voice the legendary Boba Fett in the upcoming audiobook “From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi.”

Hamm has voiced the iconic bounty hunter previously in the 2017 audiobook version of “Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View” and in 2020’s “Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back.” Now he will be back for the short story “Reputation” by Tara Sim in “From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi.” Sim’s tale centers around when Boba delivered Han Solo frozen in carbonite to Jabba the Hut. But there is no word on if Fets corvette will be addressed.

“From a Certain Point of View” is a series of anthology books that show events from the original movies, through the eyes of secondary characters. Lessening the focus on the main protagonists like Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Han Solo. With the goal of giving a different perspective than what audiences saw in the films.

For example, this upcoming book features 40 different tales from the perspectives of supporting characters in George Lucas‘ 1983 film, “Return of the Jedi.” “From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi” is also celbrating the film’s 40th anniversary.

“Having an actor [Hamm] of his caliber read words that I wrote and bring that version of Boba to life is surreal, but also such an honor,” Sim said.

“From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi” will also feature the vocal talents of Adam Scott (“Severance“), “Star Wars” animation stars Nika Futterman, Sam Witwer, and Marc Thompson. As well as Sean Kenin Elias-Reyes (“Pokémon“), January LaVoy (“One Life to Live“), and John Pirkis (“The Tick“). Veteran narrators Daniel Davis, Jonathan Davis, David Lee Huynh, Saskia Maarleveld, Euan Morton, Kristen Sieh, and Shannon Tyo will be returning.

“From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi” will hit shelves on August 29th. You can pre-order a copy of the book or audiobook now.

Also, remember that time Hamm “auditioned” for “Star Wars” during a “Saturday Night Live” sketch?
