Do you love nature? Are you fascinated by lions, tigers, and bears? Oh my! What about Tom Hiddleston? Do you love him? Well, then Apple+ has the perfect series coming. “Big Beasts” is a new 10-part documentary series, narrated by Loki himself. Get ready to listen to that velvety British voice while watching the experiences of the biggest mammals of our planet.

    “Big Beasts,” Apple TV+

The series will travel all over our tiny blue globe to look at some of our largest beasts. “Big Beasts” will cover the inhabitants of 17 countries on land, sea, and air. From the mysterious lives of the majestic grey whale, to the humble brown bear, and so many more. The series will cover the challenges faced by such large creatures. The advantages of having weight to through around vs. bigger not necessarily being better. The bigger you are, the larger the target for predators. But if you know how to use it, those predators will have a heck of a time taking you down. Like many nature documentaries, it’s sure to be a fascinating watch on Apple TV+.

The series comes from the creative team that produced “Tiny World,” which was narrated by “Ant-Man” star Paul Rudd. We’ve gone from the very small, to the very large. The series overall is produced by ITV-owned Plimsoll Productions, which brought you amazing series such as “Planet Earth 2,”, “Life,” and “Hostile Planet.” Naturally, many of the people who worked on these series have put their efforts into “Big Beasts.”

Tom Hugh-Jones, Grant Mansfield, and Martha Holmes will executive produce.

“Big Beasts” premieres April 12th, 2023.
