Jason Momoa Says “Fast X” Character is a “Bit of a Peacock”

While attending the premiere event for the 3rd and final season of Apple TV+’s hit show “See, “Jason Momoa teased his character in “Fast X.” In a word, he’s a villain. “I’ve never played a character that, what’s the word — he’s evil and quirky” Momoa told Entertainment Tonight. “He’s very sadistic and fun. It’s very bizarre.”

Momoa is hyped to play a bad guy because he went on to say he hasn’t played a villain in a “very, very long time,” and that the role was a fun one to play. He also told Variety that he had the “time of my life. I get to be the bad guy finally. I’ve been the good guy for a while.” All while teasing his “Fast X” character just a bit more “He’s very sadistic and androgynous and he’s a bit of a peacock… He’s got a lot of issues, this guy. He’s definitely got some daddy issues.”

“Fast X Part One” will be the 10th mainline installment of the franchise. While the plot is currently unknown, its a pretty safe assumption Momoa will be squaring off against Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto and the family. Because nothing is stronger than family. The film will be directed by Louis Leterrier (“The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance”).

“Fast X Part One” is set to hit theaters on May 19, 2023. But if you need a Momoa fix asap, you can catch him in the final season of “See,” which will be streaming via Apple TV+ starting this Friday, August 26th. Or in “Slumberland,” hitting Netflix November 18th, 2022. Or in ‘ “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” coming to theaters December 25th, 2023.
