Survival games are some of the biggest titles to play. They are worth the time and effort we spend on them. It is a basic human instinct to think of oneself first, but the best survival games have been found when you play with friends. The excitement only gets bigger and more intense.

One important factor that determines how players enjoy such games is the quality of a dedicated web server for the game. Any game with a multiplayer feature should have a special hosting server to prevent lagging and improve gameplay. The best survival games have a high-quality web server that ensures smoothness of play.

The continuous evolution of technology has seen the rise of multiple survival games where you and your friends can wager at any time. The game mechanics are also infused with real-life features to jump on.

Here are some of the best survival games to play together.

    Rust

If you’re a lover of HD graphics in your survival games, Rust will not disappoint you. It was released in 2018 by FacePunch Studios. Rust has a huge fan base, with a record of numerous people online playing at different times. You can either play with your team or strangers on its various servers.

The game can be played on PC (Windows and Mac), Xbox, and PlayStation. Although the graphics are excellent, the game can run on a mid-range gaming laptop with an average speed.

The gameplay starts with your character on a beach, where your journey to survive begins. All players can fight, build, and hunt together. So, the game has a beautiful production.

    7 Days to Die

7 Days to Die has an intriguing storyline. Imagine a world where only you and your friends are the sole survivors of an intense zombie invasion? In this game, there’s nothing outside, just you and your command willing to do anything to survive. The game became available in 2013 and was designed by The Fun Pimps. As expected, the game can only be played on Linux, Windows, Mac, and PlayStation.

You only need to find the best 7 Days To Die server to jump on and be released into a barren world full of creatures, hunting for your blood. Before beginning, look for the 7 days to die server hosting requirements to ensure your gaming setup meets the bare minimum. But remember, it is not available on consoles.

    Minecraft

Minecraft is one of the oldest and best multiplayer survival games available. It became live in 2011 but still has an active audience today, a testament to its amazing gameplay. The game was produced by Mojang, and can be enjoyed across gaming platforms like Xbox, Mobile (Android and iOS), PC (Linux, Windows, and Mac), Oculus, and Switch. The graphics may look out of place by modern standards, but this has made it playable on several low-end gaming setups.

While some players overlook Minecraft for its simple style of play, don’t make the same mistake. The number of zombies and monsters you will wager against here may push you to the limit. Form a team with your friends, find a suitable server host, and build a memory you will tell generations to come.

    RLCraft

If you enjoyed Minecraft and are worried about its simple gameplay, let us introduce you to RLCraft. Its challenge is not for everyone, only experienced and determined players can survive here. It’s amazing style of play offers a higher reward.

RLCraft was produced as a mod pack to the vanilla Minecraft. This new edition has many new structures, mobs, and biomes. If you and your friends are up for a serious challenge, any rlcraft server can offer you the most intriguing survival gaming experience. Don’t forget that rlcraft server hosting requirements differ from the original Minecraft, and you need to understand and meet up with it.

    GTFO

Many players want an additional co-op shoot-out scene where they release lead on all types of monsters. GTFO provides a suitable environment to fulfill your innate desire. The gameplay is simple: it  begins with you and your team as prisoners, being shoved into the underground wing of the prison. You guys must hunt for the necessary equipment to plan a prison heist and escape.

This game brings an intense view with excellent graphics of monsters and zombies. Best played in a team of four survivors, only the resilient can make it to the final stage. GTFO was developed by 10 Chambers in 2019. However, it is only available to play on Windows devices.

    Don’t Starve Together

Here, the mission is simple. Play as a team or family, gather resources, and build together to survive the dangerous night. This Klei Entertainment production has amazing 3D graphics for you to jump on. There are numerous gems to collect wherever you are.

This game is played on either Xbox, PlayStation, Mac, Windows, or Linux. There are no cross-play features here, unfortunately.

    Back 4 Blood

Turtle Rock Studios is responsible for this action thriller. Back 4 Blood became live in 2021, but has gathered a huge fan base looking to kill real-life zombies. This game has an impressive map heat and a section on how to play with friends. Your mission: you and your friends must kill your way through the army of undead and reach a safe zone.

There are different levels that get tougher as you ascend. It is available for up to four players, with a cross-play feature. Come aboard and fight for your life using a Windows, PlayStation, or Xbox device.

    PUBG

PUBG (Player Unknown Battlegrounds) is a popular title focusing on team survival. There is a map to guide you and your team and numerous weapons available to aid your battle. The game was released in 2017 by Krafton. You can enjoy it on mobile, PC, PlayStation, Stadia, or Xbox.

    Conclusion

Survival games have introduced a new form of gaming with increased challenges. Our list of the best multiplayer survival games comes from expert reviewers who have played each. Among the factors considered is the availability of a reliable and dedicated server host to ensure smooth gaming.
