“Spaceballs” Dancin’ Alien Gets Immortalized in Statue Form

Remember that iconic scene in “Spaceballs” when they eat at the Galactic Grill? You know, Lone Starr (Bill Pullman) and Barf (John Candy) park the starship Winnebago and have a bite to eat, but can’t decide between the Space Soup and the Space Special? We all remember what happens next, right?

A fellow space crew (who looks suspiciously like the Nostromo crew) sit at a neighboring table enjoying their meal and a few laughs. But, one diner (John Hurt) gets a true space special when an alien bursts through his chest. But, as it turns out, that little guy is quite the performer!

Mega Made has created a statue based on that scene!

Unfortunately it doesn’t have a voice box so there’s no button to make it sing, but you can probably just sing it to yourself anyway. The statue is resin and is 7 inches tall and 9.5 inches long. It includes a hat and a cane and comes in a full color box. Each statue is hand painted.

Pick up your Space Special statue from AmokTime here.

You can actually watch all of “Spaceballs” for free on YouTube!
