Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, Rotten Mango, and What Now? with Trevor Noah are making their way to Tubi as part of a new distribution and advertising partnership with SiriusXM.
The deal is non-exclusive, so the titles won’t be taken down from YouTube or other platforms. You just get to add a new spot to watch and listen to your favorites. In other words, if you are already tuned in, you don’t need to do a thing; Tubi is just another option.
Additional titles in the pipeline for the platform include The School of Greatness and The Deep 3 Podcast, and the list will continue to grow.
Top Podcasts
Both Rotten Mango and Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend are currently top 20 U.S. podcasts according to Edison Research. Landing on a free streaming service is a big win for infrequent listeners who don’t want to juggle the app for a few minutes.
“In podcasting, audio has long thrived through broad distribution across platforms,”
“Applying that same philosophy to video — expanding our creators’ reach across phones, computers, and connected TVs.”

Tubi Has Been Expanding Their Podcast Offerings
Tubi has been building out its podcasting ambition lately, having acquired Red Seat Ventures and signing a multiyear deal with Crime Junkie host Ashley Flowers and her audiochuck podcasting network. The SiriusXM partnership is a natural extension of that.
This move is different from the contracts that Netflix has with Spotify, iHeartMedia, and some others. At the moment, SiriusXM does not work with Netflix. Going with Tubi means it stays open and free, which is the way SiriusXM has been promoting its podcast group.
The timing also comes on the heels of a busy period for Trevor Noah. His show, What Now? with Trevor Noah, recently joined the SiriusXM Media network, which handles ad sales for major titles like Call Her Daddy, SmartLess, and The Mel Robbins Podcast.
The new deal with Tubi is the latest in SiriusXM’s big contracts in 2024 with the SmartLess showrunners and Alex Cooper‘s Unwell Network. The company has been adding big names to its podcast options.
And getting SiriusXM content is a good choice for Tubi. The platform is all about giving people things to watch for free, and adding top podcasts with built-in audiences will help with that. Rich Bloom, Tubi’s general manager of creator programs, called the deal “a natural extension” of what it’s doing for creators.
Podcast viewing is growing. SiriusXM and Tubi hope to be where those viewers go.
