Los Angeles, California (April 3, 2026) –  Toho Co., Ltd. unveiled new updates for the My Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary, exactly ten years after the premiere of the first episode of the anime series in 2016. First announced at Jump Festa, the global celebration continues to expand with the debut of a new 10th-anniversary key visual, an updated visual for the upcoming Episode 170+1 “More,” and a global free-streaming campaign to commemorate the anime’s first broadcast.

Marking a decade since the anime’s debut, My Hero Academia remains one of the most successful anime franchises worldwide. Following the conclusion of Kohei Horikoshi’s manga in August 2024, after selling over 100 million copies globally, the series spans eight seasons, 170 episodes, and four feature films.

In anticipation of the upcoming special episode, Toho has also released a new English version key visual for the highly anticipated “More” episode, which premieres May 2, 2026, exclusively on Crunchyroll worldwide (excluding Asia). Adapted from the manga’s 431st chapter, originally included in the final volume, the episode follows Izuku “Deku” Midoriya and his classmates eight years after graduating from U.A. High School.

As part of the anniversary celebration, Toho has launched the “My Hero Academia 10th Anniversary: Free Binge Marathon — Early Seasons (1–3)”, a limited-time worldwide streaming event available here on the TOHO animation official YouTube channel. Seasons 1–3 (Episodes 1–63) will be available to stream for free with subtitle options in seven languages: English, French, Spanish (Latin America), Spanish (Spain), German, Portuguese, and Italian.

    Streaming Schedule:

    • Season 1 (Episodes 1–13) April 3, 2026, 5:00 AM PT – May 3, 2026, 7:59 AM PT
    • Season 2 (Episodes 14–26) April 30, 2026, 8:00 AM PT – May 31, 2026, 7:59 AM PT
    • Season 2 (Episodes 27–38) May 31, 2026, 8:00 AM PT – June 30, 2026, 7:59 AM PT
    • Season 3 (Episodes 39–51) June 30, 2026, 8:00 AM PT – July 31, 2026, 7:59 AM PT
    • Season 3 (Episodes 52–63) July 31, 2026, 8:00 AM PT – August 31, 2026, 7:59 AM PT

My Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary celebration will continue throughout 2026 with further projects including a global concert tour, collaborations, and announcements to be revealed in the coming months on the 10th Anniversary Project Special Website https://myheroacademia.link/10-anniversary/.

My Hero Academia is available on multiple streaming platforms, including Crunchyroll, Netflix, Ani-One Asia, and LAFTEL. For additional information on My Hero Academia, please visit https://myheroacademia.link, and follow the official social channels on X, on Instagram, and on TikTok.
