LOS ANGELES – April 3, 2026 – Crunchyroll, the global anime brand, announced today that Daemons of the Shadow Realm, the highly anticipated anime adaptation from Fullmetal Alchemist creator Hiromu Arakawa, will stream worldwide excluding Asia beginning April 4. New episodes will premiere weekly every Saturday on Crunchyroll. Release schedule subject to change.
Official Series Synopsis:
Yuru, a young hunter who lives in a small village deep in the mountains, leads a humble life hunting wild game with Asa, his younger twin sister, and the other villagers. However, his peaceful life is torn apart when a “dragon’s roar” echoes across the sky.
What legends, mysteries, and secrets lurk within his tranquil village? And what fate awaits him? Experience new and exciting Daemon battles that intertwine the mysterious and supernatural. A breathtaking mystical fantasy series begins now.
The Daemons of the Shadow Realm English dub is produced by Crunchyroll. Shawn Gann serves as the ADR voice director, Susie Nixon as ADR Producer, Jameson Outlaw as the ADR Sound Engineer, William Dewell as the Mix Engineer, and Matthew Greenbaum is the English Script Writer for the anime adaptation.
