On Tuesday morning, New Hampshire State Troopers responded to a call about a crash at the Bedford Toll Plaza. A 2026 Lucid Gravity, driven by voice actor Eugene Mirman (Bob’s Burgers), had struck the plaza and was currently on fire. The witnesses reported that the driver appeared to be stuck inside the vehicle.

While officers were en route, Governor Kelly Ayotte just so happened to be on the scene with a veteran State Trooper as a part of their security detail. The unnamed former trooper and witnesses were able to remove Mirman from the car through a window.
When officers arrived, Mirman was taken to “an area hospital with serious injuries,” according to a press release by the department.
“Certainly, their actions were heroic in what they did,” said Colonel Mark B. Hall. “Without hesitation, they put themselves in danger to render aid to someone who was in need of it.”
No charges have been filed at this time, but the investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
The actor and his family are asking for privacy while he recovers. We wish them all the best during this incredibly difficult time.
