Pluto TV Celebrates Halfway to Halloween with “April Ghouls”

Starting April 1, Pluto TV presents April Ghouls, a month-long destination for horror, supernatural, and genre fans, available free all month long.

April Ghouls offers two equally frightening ways in. Browse the dedicated horror and genre channels when you want to open the door and see what’s already waiting. From there, “Watch From Start” takes any title back to the beginning on demand. Or skip straight to the April Ghouls collection and pick your own path.

April Ghouls builds on last year’s Halloween Hits, Pluto TV’s first-ever dedicated horror destination, and the audience, especially among younger viewers, has only grown since. Horror and thriller viewership among women 18–24 is up 64% year over year, proof that one month a year was never going to be enough.

On April 20, The X-Files gets the full treatment: all 11 seasons streaming in order on the X-Files channel, with the complete series available on demand. This marathon coincides with Pluto TV’s “The Fan Is Out There” experience, sending one superfan off-grid to marathon the series inside an undisclosed facility in Joshua Tree.

The full April Ghouls collection is available free starting April 1 on Pluto TV.

    CHANNEL APPENDIX

In addition to the on-demand collection, April Ghouls is anchored by 13 core channels available free on Pluto TV throughout April, including The X-Files, The Twilight Zone, Dark Shadows, The Walking Dead Universe, Ghost Hunters, Universal Monsters, and Pluto TV Horror. The collection builds on last October’s Halloween Hits, which drove record viewership on the channel side — with Supernatural Drama, home to Ghost Whisperer and Charmed, reaching an all-time high.
