New Video Game “F**k ICE” Goes Viral After Minnesota Death

On January 7th, Minnesota resident Renee Nicole Macklin Good was fatally shot by an ICE agent during a protest of the agency’s current, scorched-earth tactics towards immigration. Once word got out that the unarmed US citizen and mother of three was killed, people were understandably furious. Protests all across the country have made it clear that ICE’s mass raids are not only unwelcome but completely un-American. Good’s death has only served to highlight how senseless all of it is.

Now, the internet is making it well known that ICE, to quote Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey, can “get the fuck out.” Game designer and musician JT Mann has joined the charge with his new video game, “Fuck ICE.”

Mann posted the video game to social media with a simple and direct message: “i spent the entire day making a game called FUCK ICE.” Accompanied by a link to the free-to-play game.

Players become a small white bird creature in this classic side-scroller. You win points by jumping on the ICE agents that are trying to attack you. Periodically, a different politician responsible for this mess will appear in the background.

Just in case that isn’t enough to get the point across, the game is scored by an electronic song where the only lyrics are “Fuck ICE.” And if this were 2006, and ringtones were still a thing, it would be the new “Crazy Frog.”

You can check out Mann’s new game “Fuck ICE” here, along with several other fun titles.
