with Paramount+’s “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” officially ending with season 5, we didn’t think there would be any big casting news. Considering the series wrapped filming last week, this is kind of surprising.
Thomas Jane (“The Expanse,” “The Punisher“) has been cast as Leonard “Bones” McCoy, played by DeForest Kelley in the original series. Kai Murakami has been cast as Hikaru Sulu, portrayed by George Takei.
