Big, but not surprising, news: “Only Murders in the Building” was renewed for a 6th season mere hours after its 5th season finale. Bigger, and much more surprising, news: the upcoming season will take place in London!
Hulu’s hit series has been set in New York for the past 5 seasons, sans a trip to California in season 4.
The setting may have changed, but everyone’s favorite crime-solving trio, Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, will return as stars and executive producers. The ending to the last season even helped keep the “Building” in play, but we won’t explain how, due to spoilers.
“Only Murders in the Building” is created by Martin and John Hoffman. Hoffman also serves as showrunner and executive produces with Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal, Ben Smith, and JJ Philbin.
