Early 2000s reality tv series “Fear Factor” is getting a revival on Fox. Johnny Knoxville will take over hosting duties. Given the man’s experience with physical stunts on “Jackass,” “Action Park,” and other projects, this just seemed absolutely perfect; like when an artist finds their creative medium. At the time, we didn’t have a release date, now we know a bit more about when and what to expect.

Last we heard, the show was engaged in doing some casting calls to bring in contestants. The premise of the show was also changed a bit from being a direct competitive series of events to a, “twisted game of social strategy.” The name has also changed a couple times. In our last report, we heard the title was going to be, “Fear Factor: The Next Chapter.” Now it’s set to be, “Fear Factor: House of Fear.”

The teaser shows a blender, which is already a troubling sign for anyone familiar with the show. “Fear Factor” may have advertised itself as a stunt show about facing terrifying situations, but it very quickly become known more for its gross out situations with people eating disgustingly awful concoctions. And that’s where the blender comes into play. We see it being loaded up with fruit, and then some bugs, and then… other things… So, if there was any question about the content of the revival, that’s all been answered.

When can we expect to see this madness playout? Sooner than you might think. “Fear Factor: House of Fear” will debut on Fox and next day Hulu this January. We’re only three months away from seeing what twisted delights are in store for contestants and viewers alike. It’ll be interesting to see how involved Knoxville will be with the stunts compared to previous host Joe Rogan.

Will Knoxville be dining with the competitors? We wouldn’t put it past him.

We’re cooking up fresh frights for a whole new generation. ?‍??⚠️?#FearFactor: House of Fear, hosted by Johnny Knoxville, is coming January 2026 to @FOXTV! pic.twitter.com/2WJOnwRII8
