Robert Irwin, son of the late beloved conservationist Steve Irwin, has been absolutely killing it on “Dancing with the Stars.” But after a recent shirtless moment on the show, he’s gotten a lot of new fans and an unexpected job offer. Famed male striptease act Chippendales has offered Irwin a spot as a celebrity host.
Now, this is far from the first time the company has looked to “Dancing with the Stars” for celebrity talent. Tyson Beckford, Vinny Guadagnino, and Joey Lawrence all did stints as dancers with Chippendales after wrapping on the series.
This offer was made to Robert’s agent, his mother, Terri Irwin. The pitch concludes with “His personality, kindness, skills (and body!) make for a perfect celebrity host,” according to documents obtained by TMZ.
His dance partner Witney Carson has also expressed remorse over ripping Robert’s shirt open on the show. Effectively opening up the floodgates for him to be objectified.
There is no word on whether Robert will accept the offer and take his conservation efforts on the road. We’ll keep you posted on updates about this story as it develops.
