We know, it’s not even into October yet as we’re writing this and we’re already talking about Christmas. Normally, we’d be shaking our heads in wonder as well, but this is different. If there is one thing in this world that is appropriate for every day of every season, it’s The Muppets. Jim Henson‘s timeless creations have brought happiness to people around the world for decades. And since 1992, they’ve been doing it at Christmas thanks to the Brian Henson-directed “The Muppet Christmas Carol.” The amazing adaptation of the Charles Dickens story is arguably one of the best Christmas films ever made, and if you’re a super fan, you can celebrate it with a countdown calendar for the ages.

Muppet Christmas Carol Countdown Calendar – Disney Store

“The Muppet Christmas Carol” calendar lets you count down 12 days of Christmas with an adorable mini-plush for each day. The featured characters are most of whom you’d anticipate if you’re a fan of the film. You’ve got Kermit and Robin as Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim respectively, Statler and Waldorf as the Marley brothers, Gonzo as Charles Dickens, the three ghosts of Christmas, Rizzo as um, Rizzo, and more.

While it’s still a bit early for Christmas movies (Halloween takes some priority here) remember that when the time comes you can watch “The Muppet Christmas Carol” on Disney+. Just remember to select the option to be able to watch the full cut of the film that includes “When Love is Gone.” You’ll thank us later.

You can order the calendar from the Disney Store here.
