It’s probably hard to think of Christmas right now, with temperatures heating up and it being over six months away… But Chuck E. Cheese and HappyNest Entertainment want you to forget all that by announcing the original, “The Chuck E. Cheese Christmas Special.”
Not only will this be the mascot’s animated debut, but the project is also backed by A LOT of talent.

“The Chuck E. Cheese Christmas Special” is co-written and executive-produced by Zac Moncrief and Jon Colton Barry. The same duo behind the beloved “Phineas & Ferb” and “Be Cool Scooby-Doo!”. Steve Trenbirth (“The Jungle Book 2”) will be co-directing the project with Moncrief.
This special features an all-new original Christmas song co-written by Barry, Moncrief, composer Ben Bromfield (“Ginny & Georgia”), and Jeff Barry. Jeff Barry, Jon Colton Barry’s father, is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee for hits like “I’m a Believer,” “Sugar Sugar,” and “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home”).

The cast includes Nathan Kress (“iCarly”) as Chuck E. Cheese. with Grey Griffin (“Avatar: The Last Airbender”), Nolan North (“Uncharted”), Kari Wahlgren (“Rick & Morty”), and Fred Tatasciore (“Kung Fu Panda 2”).
Character designs for “The Chuck E. Cheese Christmas Special” are being done by Oscar-nominated designer and animator Bobby Pontillas (“Moana”). Animation will be done by Pixel Zoo Animation Studios out of Brisbane, Australia. From a team led by studio founder and CEO Paul Gillett, studio head Sebastian Gonzalez, and the directors.

“The Chuck E. Cheese Christmas Special” is currently in production and slated to release this holiday season.
