CBS’ hit reality show “Survivor” is ramping up to its 49th season. After the season 48 finale on May 21st, the network aired the first trailer for the upcoming season. Among the various clips, we see Nate Moore, former development executive at Marvel Studios, swimming.

Moore began working for Marvel Studios in 2010 and helped turn its cinematic universe into what it is today. He helped develop the screenplay for 2014’s “Guardians of the Galaxy.” He also produced “The Winter Soldier,” “Civil War,” “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” and “Brave New World” for the “Captain America” franchise.
As well as 2018’s “Black Panther,” 2022’s “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” and 2021’s “Eternals.”
Moore left his position at Marvel Studios as the executive vice president of production and development in December of 2024, with the goal of pursuing an independent producing career. Despite him still being attached to the upcoming third “Black Panther” film, he left the studio in March.
CBS has not announced any official “Survivor” cast members, but the footage and multiple sources confirm it’s Moore.
Season 49 is expected to debut sometime this fall. Followed by the highly anticipated 50th season in spring 2026, featuring returning “Survivor” players.
