We have some… hot news out of Anaheim, California. On April 4th, a fire broke out in the Pixar Pals parking lot at Disneyland. While the blaze was initially contained to a Kia Sportage, the fire soon spread to other vehicles.
The Anaheim Fire & Rescue Department responded just before 10 AM after receiving reports about a burning car in the parking structure. Since this is 2025, social media started to light up with videos and images of the car burning and the thick cloud of smoke it produced.

According to a spokesperson for The Anaheim Fire Department, by the time units arrived, the fire had spread to two or three more vehicles. The whole event caused the parking lot to be closed for an hour or so while firefighters extinguished it and assessed the damage. Thankfully no one was harmed during the fire and only property was damaged.
An arson investigation has revealed that the fire started in the engine compartment of the Kia. But what initially started the blaze and how is still unknown. An estimated 12 vehicles were damaged to different degrees during this incident. Some to the point of being totaled.
This comes after two suspected car thieves tried to hide in the Pixar parking lot last month. This shut the lot down for maybe half an hour while the duo was apprehended. We aren’t sure what the deal is with this particular lot but we hope its current crime wave ends soon.
