It’s that time- the 2024 Game Awards are upon us!

While we’re very excited to see what trailers and titles are announced during today’s ceremony, we DO want to take a minute to acknowledge SAG-AFTRA, who are currently still on strike against various video game companies and producers.

That said, we’ll do our best to update with winners and all the news from today’s ceremony.

The first video up was for Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, coming in the summer of 2024.

First award of the night was for BEST FIGHTING GAME, which goes to Tekken 8!

BEST VR/AR GAME goes to “Batman: Arkham Shadow.”

“Dave the Diver In the Jungle” looks pretty adorable, not gonna lie. Coming late 2025.

“Thick as Thieves” got a cute little character intro video, showcasing a Victorian-set thieves trying to one up each other title.

BEST ESPORTS GAME goes to “League of Legends.”

BEST ESPORTS ATHELE goes to Faker.

BEST ESPORTS TEAM goes to T1.

GAMES FOR IMPACT goes to “NEVA.”

    STATLER AND WALDORF ARE THERE

Todd Howard and Troy Baker take the stage. Holy crap and now Harrison Ford is on stage!!

Harrison is presenting the award for BEST PERFORMANCE, which goes to Melina Juergens for “Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.”

WORLD PREMIERE for CD PROJEKT RED’s upcoming “Witcher” title, which features Ciri saving a young girl from a ritualistic end. Ciri will be the main character!!

There are no gods here, only monsters ⚔️

We're thrilled to reveal the first look at #TheWitcherIV — our upcoming single-player open-world RPG. It marks the beginning of a new saga with Ciri as a protagonist, embarking on her own journey to become a professional monster slayer.… pic.twitter.com/Xu3YleR2iv

“ELDEN RING: NIGHT REIGN” will release in 2025.

Uhhhh don’t know what the hell that “Catly” thing was, but it was a pile of hot AI-generated garbage.

So. Snoop performed, and the majority of the audience looked confused. (He sounded great!)
