If you’re a fan of the Apple TV+ series “Severance” and podcasts, we have some fun news for you.  “The Severance Podcast With Ben Stiller and Adam Scott” is being launched soon on Audacy. As you’ve probably guessed, it’ll be hosted by series director Ben Stiller and star Adam Scott.

This is a companion podcast for the sci-fi series, giving analysis and weekly insights from the show’s cast and crew.

Adam Scott in “Severance,” now streaming on Apple TV+.

    “The Severance Podcast”

Stiller and Scott will share insights with guest stars including “Severance” creator Dan Erickson and executive producer Jackie Cohn.  Alongside series stars Zach Cherry (Dylan), John Turturro (Irving), and Britt Lower (Helly). A few celebrity superfans will also join in on the fun, with “The Daily Show”’s Jon Stewart already confirmed.

“We have severed ourselves from the world for five years making this show. While we have no memory of what happened during that time, we thought we should do a podcast for all the Innies who will have no recollection of watching, in an attempt to reintegrate them with their memory of the show,” Stiller and Scott said in a joint statement. “We’re happy not to be working with Lumon Industries on this podcast and instead to be bringing it to the world with Audacy Podcasts, who would never send us to the break room.”

“We’re huge fans of ‘Severance’ and of what Ben and Adam have created with this wholly original and thought-provoking series, and couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with them to go behind-the-scenes and into the world of Lumon,” said Jenna Weiss-Berman, EVP of Audacy Podcasts. “‘The Severance Podcast’ is a rich addition to the Audacy Podcasts slate and offers stellar content for listeners and exciting opportunities for clients.”

    Release Schedule

The podcast will launch on January 7th with two episodes focused on season one. The rest of the episodes focused on the first season of “Severance” will be released every weekday until January 16th. Following the launch of season two on January 17th, the podcast will switch to one episode a week released on Fridays.

You can catch all of “Severance” season one exclusively on Apple TV+ with season two kicking off January 17th.  “The Severance Podcast With Ben Stiller and Adam Scott,” will hit Audacy on January 7th.
