while we’re still not sure why the hell anyone would want a “Harry Potter“ tv series, HBO is moving full-Hogwarts Express steam head on the project. This of course means casting will happen eventually, and that’s what brings us to today’s rumor.
According to the usual suspects, Mark Rylance (“Ready Player One,” “The Outfit“) is being eyed to play the headmaster of the school for wizardry and witchcraft, Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore.
If the stars align, Rylance would become the third actor to bring the iconic character to life in a live-action project. Richard Harris played the character in the first film, and following his death, actor Michael Gambon assumed the robes.
