Martha Stewart Won’t Do “Golden Bachelorette” for a Good Reason

One of the original domestic divas Martha Stewart says she would reject an offer to do “The Golden Bachelorette.” The ABC reality dating series is a spin-off of “The Bachelorette.” But instead of focusing on 20-somethings, this version has older contestants looking for love. The first season centered around 61-year-old, private school administrator, Joan Vassos.

So….why wouldn’t she do it? Because “The guys aren’t hot enough.”

In an interview with Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live!,” Stewart and her bff Snoop Dogg were playing a game of “Do Besties Give a Damn.” Stewart was asked if she would ever go on “The Golden Bachelorette.”

“Absolutely not,” she firmly replied. Host Andy Cohen even sweetened to pot offering a theoretical $1 million or, after a push from Snoop, $10 million an episode.

“The guys aren’t hot enough,” said Stewart.

“So it ain’t about the money, it’s about how hot the guys are,” adds Snoop. “She said, 10 million can’t get it if he don’t look right.”

It’s also not like Stewart is hurting for money either. She is currently on a press tour for her upcoming Netflix documentary “Martha.” The RJ Cutler-directed film will cover her rise to fame, criminal conviction, and how she rebuilt after serving time in prison for insider trading.

“Martha” will premiere on Netflix on October 30th. You can watch a clip from the “Watch What Happens Live!” interview below:
