Remember the cream cheese-inspired restaurant that served food based on emotions instead of traditional names of dishes? Sure, it was kinda out there, but cream cheese is pretty amazing, so why not? Other combinations have been happening for years, and some of them have taken on a life of their own. Like Doritos and Taco Bell‘s longstanding combo. But what if the beloved nacho chip moved beyond that to inspire an entire menu’?
Well, get ready for Los Angeles’ Crypto Arena, and their new Doritos menu.

Do you like veggie dumplings? Well how would you like them with some Doritos chili crisp to them? What about a nice Michelada cocktail? Now you can have it with “Nacho Cheese-infused beer” thanks to Doritos! It’s all thanks to the Doritos After Dark menu that you will find exclusively at certain events held at Crypto Arena.
Maybe it sounds ridiculous to you but as a counterpoint, doesn’t an arena named after a crypto currency website also sound ridiculous? Exactly, so it’s a match made in decentralized nacho heaven. The Doritos After Dark series of flavors has been around for a couple years now but this new take on things would be the first true Doritos restaurant experience. Whether that’s a good or a bad thing is a very subjective take. It’s also one of those sentences that you have to go back and ask yourself if you really wrote it. Which, yes, I did.

Complimenting the previously mentioned menu items are Spicy Sweet Chili Chicken Bites, Nacho Cheese Messy Taquitos, a Cool Ranch Loaded Pita, a couple of sushi roll inspired dishes, some nachos (naturally) and a Flamin’ Hot Limon Mango Chamoyada drink along with a Flamin Hot Limon Late Night Rita. If any of these options sound appealing to you, then may the odds be ever in your favor, and presumably your stomach lining’s.

Now, if you really don’t have the time or money to see an event at the aforementioned arena where the restaurant is located, then at least you can enjoy a one-time only pop-up event.
It’ll be open November 15th, from 4:30pm-7:30pm (Pacific). Beyond that, you’ll have to just hope and pray that this restaurant expands beyond the scope of the arena and finds its way to a city near you. And maybe some of these dishes will actually be surprisingly good! We’ll let you try them first though and report back to us.
