The cast for season 7 of the sci-fi anthology series “Black Mirror” is really starting to take shape. It will consist of six episodes. As always, almost nothing about possible plot details is known.
But, we do know that Awkwafina, Peter Capaldi (“Doctor Who“), Emma Corrin (“The Crown,” “Deadpool & Wolverine“), Patsy Ferran, Paul Giamatti, Lewis Gribben, and Rashida Jones will be among the cast. Siena Kelly, Rosy McEwen, Chris O’Dowd, Issa Rae, Paul G. Raymond, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Harriet Walter also star.
This season won’t just be fresh faces, either. Cristin Milioti, Billy Magnussen, Jimmy Simpson, Milanka Brooks, and Osy Ikhile will also return for a follow-up to the season 4 episode “USS Callister.”
This cast announcement comes as part of a cryptic video posted to social media. The video looks like a DOS screen displaying an error before a popup with a copyright of 1994 pops up. What follows is garbled text interspersed with various names of cast members. All captioned with “TCKR_Confidential_NotForDistribution.mp4.”
“Black Mirror” season seven is set to hit Netflix sometime in 2025. We’ll keep you posted on any breadcrumbs about the project as they become available.
