    “Twilight” Animated Series “Midnight Sun” Lands at Netflix

    Those times we feel like the Ben Affleck smoking meme.

    Streaming giant Netflix has begun development on an animated project based on Stephanie Meyer‘s “Twilight” works. In particular, this animated series will follow “Midnight Sun,” the retelling of the story through the point of view of vampire Edward Cullen.

    In the Lionsgate 3-film “Twilight” series, Edward was played by Robert Pattinson (“The Batman“).

    Sinead Daly (“Raised by Wolves,” “The Walking Dead: World Beyond“) will executive produce and write the series.
