The project began shooting in June, and after months of filming, Johnson shared the milestone via an Instagram post. It is a behind-the-scenes image of a cemetery with a sign asking cast and crew to “be mindful of the graves.”

“Aaaaaand that’s a wrap on Wake Up Dead Man,” the caption reads. “Thank you to the best crew in the world and the most brilliant cast. This shoot was a VERY special experience, I cannot wait to put this thing together and show you all what we’ve got.”

    The Franchise

The first “Knives Out” film was released in 2019 and was an immediate hit with both audiences and critics. The film grossed $311.4 million worldwide on a budget of $40 million. Seeing its success, Netflix came calling for the sequels, 2022’s “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” and the upcoming “Wake Up Dead Man.”

Like past installments “Wake Up Dead Man,” will feature an entirely new cast of characters sans private detective Beniot Blanc, who series mainstay Daniel Craig will play again. The new cast includes Josh O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny, Andrew Scott, Mila Kunis, Kerry Washington, Josh Brolin, and Jeremy Renner.

“Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,” is slated to hit Netflix sometime in 2025. We’ll keep you posted on updates about teh project as they become available.
