    We’ve seen and heard of several…unique… food combinations but we think this is the first time someone has put spinach and bubblegum together. The fine folks at King Features, which holds the copyright for the spinach-loving cartoon character Popeye, and Bubblegum Kids have partnered up to make just that…

    Popeye Spinach Gum which is a bubblegum that looks like yummy, yummy spinach. The limited edition product even describes its flavor profile as “Looks like Spinach, Taste’s like Bubblegum.” And we’re just going to take their word on that one.

    The manufacturer of Popeye Spinach Gum prides itself on accessible products. All of the gums available on the website are sugar-free, peanut-free, certified Kosher, gluten-free, and vegan. Making these products available to a wide range of customers with various allergies and dietary restrictions.

    Bubblegum Kids is also no stranger to collaborations boasting upcoming products with “Archie” comics, “Care Bears,” Dippin Dots mascot Frozeti The Yeti, “Max & Ruby,” “The Berenstain Bears,” and many more. All of which we are sure will produce more normal combinations than spinach in gum form.
