Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist, Flea, will be performing his most daring antic yet – reading a story to children! The pink-haired rock star will be hosting a storytime for the Apple TV+ series “Yo Gabba GabbaLand.”

In a clip from the episode, we see Flea hanging out with his new friend Levi. The pair sit in front of a small theater as the musician reads the tale of a silly little otter. He periodically pauses to allow Levi to fill in the blanks of the story with whatever his imagination can come up with. As they read the story they are crafting together is animated on the screen behind them.

    “Yo Gabba GabbaLand”

Inspired by the beloved children’s show “Yo Gabba Gabba,” this new series re-imagines the world. Filling it with new music, dances, and life lessons. All while still teaching kids and families through entertainment.

Some co-hosts for “Yo Gabba GabbaLand” will be Anderson .Paak, Portugal. The Man, Thundercat, The Linda Lindas, Kurt Vile, and more. The musical guest shouldn’t be surprising considering the series is still created by Christian Jacobs, The MC Bat Commander and fearless leader of the band The Aquabats. Alongside the band’s long-time collaborator Scott Schultz.

“Yo Gabba GabbaLand” will premiere on Apple TV+ on Friday, August 9th. You can check out the clip with Flea and official series trailer below:
